History

Liveloud was established in 2008 as a non-prot initiative of the CFC Youth for Christ Ministry, a youth arm of Couples for Christ (CFC). It was born from a deep desire to worship the Lord and from a passion to create a space where members could share their God-given talents with the community.

From the very beginning, Liveloud was envisioned as more than just a program. It became a springboard that opened opportunities for the young, for non-members, for the unchurched, and for non-believers. It exists for all. Its mission is to create spaces where people can experience and encounter Jesus, and ultimately be led to the CFC Family Ministries where they can continue to grow in their faith and participate in the bigger Roman Church.

In 2009, a campaign was launched with a call to live our lives loudly for the Lord. Young musicians from the CFC Youth for Christ Ministry were encouraged to write original songs and share them with the community. This movement became known as LIVELOUD, a declaration of faith expressed through music and creativity. As Psalm 30:11-12 declares “You have changed my sadness into a joyful dance; you have taken away my sorrow and surrounded me with joy. So I will not be silent; I will sing praise to you. LORD, you are my God; I will give you thanks forever.” for anyone created in God’s image and likeness is meant to proclaim who He is

“”You have changed my sadness into a joyful dance; you have taken away my sorrow and surrounded me with joy. So I will not be silent; I will sing praise to you. LORD, you are my God; I will give you thanks forever.””

Psalm 30:11-12 (GNT)

As the campaign grew, the need for a platform to teach, form, and launch these original music became clear. In the same year, the first Liveloud Praise and Worship Concert was staged. It became a space where music and mission came together, marking the beginning of a movement that would continue to grow through the years.

Liveloud has since evolved into one of the biggest Catholic worship concert movements worldwide. In 2019, recognizing its expanding reach and growing potential.

Liveloud is a worship advocacy of Couples for Christ that caters to the youth, and young professionals of this generation. Liveloud is under the CFC Family Ministry, while continuing to operate as a stand-alone program. It remains committed to proclaiming God’s Word through Catholic music and envisions individuals across all generations living boldly for the Lord.
